Water main break on Eastern Ave.

A water main break in the 3400 block of Eastern Avenue is expected to cause traffic issues along a major commuter route. Expect problems between Rhode Island Avenue and Bladensburg Road. A water main break has also been reported on Fort Lincoln Drive between 31st Place and Eastern Avenue. Officials are urging drivers to use alternate streets.
A break has also been reported on Emerson Street between 12th Street and Sergeant Road NE. It is also affecting 12th Street between Emerson and South Dakota.
