Amtrak service resumes

10:50am update: Amtrak is running normal service between Washington and Boston.
Amtrak will resume normal operations with Trains 93 and 2163 from Boston, Trains 2154 and 172 from New York, and Train 493 from Springfield after experiencing cancellations, delays and altered schedules due to the recent winter storm, it said in a statement.
Cancellations announced earlier will remain in effect.
7am: Amtrak has suspended service from New York to Boston and from New Haven to Springfield this morning in the wake of the snowstorm that hit the Northeast on Wednesday. Amtrak trains are running between Washington and New York, but with limited cancelations.
