Big VRE delays, Metro Option open

7:50 A.M. UPDATE:
VRE train 312 is running 15 minutes late due to equipment moves, according to VRE.
7:10 A.M. UPDATE:
VRE train 308 is now canceled. The next train is 310, which has departed and will be on-time.
ORIGINAL POST:
VRE train 308 (scheduled to depart Fredericksburg at 6:30 a.m.) is severely delayed by mechanical issues in Fredericksburg. Amtrak train 86 will pick up VRE passengers at Fredericksburg, Quantico, Woodbridge, Alexandria, L'Enfant and Union Station without Step-Up tickets. The Metro Option is open for riders; show your VRE ticket to access the Metro.
