2:45 p.m. Update: Lanes have reopened, according to traffic reporting services.
Original post: Connecticut Avenue southbound is closed at Weller Road due to an accident, according to county and state officials. Drivers should expect delays through rush hour.

This is the kind of information that for the want of something as simple as city or neighborhood name makes it essentially useless. CT Ave is a long road in both DC and MD. This is really only impacting traffic southbound somewhere in MoCo, but it causes many more people to look who have no idea where Weller Road is located. Is it inside or outside the Beltway?
This is like the useless radio traffic reports that will talk about Rtes 95, 50, 29, 1, etc and make no mention of which state.
