I-95 N backed up in VA

8:30 A.M. UPDATE:

I-95 North is still bad news, as it remains jammed up near Woodbridge and again at the Springfield Interchange. I-66 East is also still slow before Leesburg Pike/Route 7.

In Maryland, an accident on the outer loop at B.W. Parkway is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

8:05 A.M. UPDATE:

I-95 South has reopened after Sandy Spring Road in Maryland.

In Virginia, I-66 East is snarled before Leesburg Pike/Route 7. The inner loop remains sluggish approaching Arlington Boulevard. I-95 North is no fun for anybody, because it's jammed up near Woodbridge and again at the Springfield Interchange.

7:40 AM. UPDATE:

An accident on I-95 South after Sandy Spring Road/MD 198 is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

In Virginia, I-95 North is still slow approaching the Springfield Interchange, the inner loop is slow as you get close to Arlington Boulevard/U.S. 50 and I-66 West is clogged up near Sycamore Street.

7:20 A.M. UPDATE:

The accidents on the inner and outer loop in Maryland have been cleared.

In Virginia, the right lane on I-95 South at Telegraph Road has reopened, but the shoulder is still blocked and traffic is backed up.

7:05 A.M. UPDATE:

In Maryland, an accident on the inner loop after the Wilson Bridge could cause delays. Same for an accident on the outer loop after Kenilworth Avenue.

In Virginia, I-95 North is extremely backed up approaching the Springfield Interchange. There's an accident on I-95 South at Telegraph Road blocking the south right lane.

6:50 A.M. UPDATE:

The outer loop lanes have reopened at the American Legion Bridge.

6:30 A.M. UPDATE:

An accident on the outer loop is blocking two lanes at the American Legion Bridge. Meanwhile, the I-270 North lane has reopened.

In Virginia, I-66 East is very backed up at Nutley Street, while I-395 North is slow near Duke Street.

Right now, roadwork is blocking one lane on I-270 North at Falls Road.
