I-66 West lanes reopen at Beltway

10 A.M. UPDATE:

The I-66 West lanes have reopened at the Beltway.

9:50 A.M. UPDATE:

The outer loop's southbound ramp to Arlington Boulevard has reopened.

9:40 A.M. UPDATE:

The accident on I-66 West at the Beltway is still blocking the center lane, right lane and right shoulder. And the accident on the outer loop is still blocking the southbound entrance ramp to U.S. 50/Arlington Boulevard.

The right lane of the inner loop has reopened at Braddock Road.

8:50 A.M. UPDATE:

An accident on I-66 West at the Beltway is blocking the center lane, right lane and right shoulder. Expect big problems if you're in that area.

There's also an accident on the outer loop blocking the southbound entrance ramp to U.S. 50/Arlington Boulevard.

And the right lane of the inner loop remains blocked at Braddock Road.

8:10 A.M. UPDATE:

An accident on the inner loop at the Braddock Road exit is blocking the left lane and one of the shoulders. This area is generally congested, but you can expect things to be much slower this morning.

Traffic signals are out at 6th and S streets in Northwest Washington. Crews are on the scene, but expect delays as you approach that area.

A disabled vehicle at Kenilworth Avenue and Ord Street in Northeast Washington could cause delays in that area.

7:30 A.M. UPDATE:

An accident on I-270 South to the south of Shady Grove Road is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

6:55 A.M. UPDATE:

I-66 East remains very backed up at Nutley Street.

I-395 North is also very sluggish once you approach King Street, with traffic slowing down considerably.

Here are some headaches and issues that might impact your commute this morning:

Canal Road is blocked in both directions at Clark Place due to an accident. For more, head here.

I-66 East is badly backed up at Nutley Street right now, with delays stretching for several miles.

Meanwhile, an earlier accident on I-270 South at Clarksburg Road/MD 121 has been cleared up, but southbound traffic can still expect to hit some delays.
