Orange Line delays cleared

9:01 A.M. UPDATE:
The Orange Line delays have cleared, according to Metro.
8:52 A.M. UPDATE:
The delays remain unabated for Orange Line travelers. Riders who are tweeting report packed trains and long waits, so if you are heading out to the Metro expect problems.
8:32 A.M. UPDATE:
The track circuit malfunction has been resolved, but delays remain in both directions at West Falls Church. Riders are facing big, big delays approaching this area. Mark LeMunyon tweeted that riders arriving at Vienna are being told to head to West Falls Church or just get on a train and wait.
8:07 A.M. UPDATE:
The Orange Line has delays heading to Vienna due to a track circuit malfunction at West Falls Church.
7:25 A.M. UPDATE:
The delays have been cleared, according to Metro's Web site.
6:52 A.M. UPDATE:
The switch malfunction has been resolved, but delays remain in both directions.
ORIGINAL POST:
There are delays on the Red Line in both directions due to a switch malfunction outside of Rhode Island Avenue. It's causing problems between Shady Grove and Rhode Island Avenue, so expect big headaches.
