Suspicious package cleared
11:25 a.m. Update: The suspicious has been cleared and streets should be reopening.
10:14 a.m. Update: Connecticut Ave is blocked from N Street to Massachusetts Avenue NW., according to the District Department of Transportation. Eighteenth Street is also blocked.
D.C. police are investigating with D.C. Fire /EMS crews assisting.
Original post: D.C. authorities are reporting a suspicious package at Connecticut Avenue and N Street NW. Expect congestion throughout the area.

Wow. I passed by Connecticut Avenue while it was blocked off and had to really dig into the WPost website to find out what was going on. Shouldn't this information have been featured more prominently?
