14th Street NW reopens
12:20 p.m. Update: Fourteenth Street NW reopened after crews completed work for today on the segment between Colorado Avenue and Longfellow Street.
However, D.C. officials said work may resume Tuesday after rush hour.
Original post: Fourteenth Street NW is closed between Colorado Avenue and Longfellow Street while D.C. Water makes repairs.
D.C. officials said the work is scheduled to last for several hours. Drivers should use alternate routes, such as 16th Street, 13th Street and Georgia Avenue. The work also means that buses will have to detour to nearby streets. Allow more time for your trip, whether you're driving or taking transit.
