Accidents at 14th St. Bridge

Original post: District officials said there are two multi-vehicle accidents on and near the 14th Street bridge at the start of the Friday rush hour.
Police responded to the 14th street bridge about 4 p.m. for an accident, said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman.
Authorities also reported an accident in the northbound lanes of the Southeast-Southwest Freeway about 4:15 p.m. District transportation officials said the accident was near the 12th St. exit and two lanes of traffic were shut down.
No serious injuries were reported but traffic delays were expected.
