By Mark Berman

8:35 A.M. UPDATE:

The outer loop lanes have fully reopened at University Boulevard, but one of the shoulders remains blocked. Expect some delays in that area.

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop at New Hampshire Avenue has been cleared.

I-395 North is still sluggish approaching the 14th Street Bridge.

I-66 East is also jammed up at the Beltway.

An accident at 14th and Girard streets in Northwest Washington could slow traffic in the Columbia Heights area.

8:15 A.M. UPDATE:

Now just one outer loop lane and one of the shoulders remain blocked at University Boulevard.

There's also a disabled vehicle on the outer loop at New Hampshire Avenue, which could cause additional problems.

8:05 A.M. UPDATE:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at University Boulevard is now blocking two of four lanes and one of the shoulders.

7:55 A.M. UPDATE:

The vehicle fire on I-270 South has been cleared, but some residual delays could remain around I-370.

There's an accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before University Boulevard, which could cause major problems there.

7:30 A.M. UPDATE:

The delays on I-395 North persist at Seminary Road and the 14th Street Bridge.

I-66 East is also pretty slow near Chain Bridge Road.

7:15 A.M. UPDATE:

A vehicle fire on I-270 South is blocking the shoulder at I-370 and Shady Grove Road, which could cause delays for southbound traffic.

The accident on westbound U.S. 50 has been cleared and the lanes reopened.

I-395 North is delayed at the 14th Street Bridge as well as at Seminary Road.

The inner loop of the Beltway is delayed near Alexandria. However, the inner loop shoulder that was blocked near I-66 has reopened, so that area should be a little easier right now.

6:40 A.M. UPDATE:

An accident on westbound U.S. 50 at the Kenilworth Avenue/MD 201 is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

6:15 A.M. UPDATE:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway near I-66 is blocking the right shoulder. This could cause some delays.
