Shirlington Road closed

5:11 p.m. Update: Shirlington Road between Arlington Mill Drive and Four Mile Road in Arlington is closed due to a pedestrian accident.

5:10 p.m. Update: The crash has been cleared but expect normal congestion as you head home.

4:05 p.m. Update: Virginia officials report that one lane is closed and delays extend for two miles.

Original post: A collision involving several cars is causing traffic delays on the northbound 14th Street Bridge, according to D.C. authorities.

A D.C. Fire/EMS official said units from Arlington County and the District are both responding, evaluating at least one person for injuries.
