Damaged switch delays MARC trains
6:30 p.m. Update: The Metro option is now open on the Green Line for MARC riders. Passengers should show their tickets to station managers for access.
Original post: A damaged switch near Riverdale Station and freight train traffic area delaying Maryland Area Regional Commuter trains.
The Maryland Transit Administration says CSX personnel, who are responsible for maintaining the tracks, are on site making repairs. Trains are holding.
