Road re-striping in Northern Va.
Crews will be re-striping main roads along the path of the Metrorail extension to Dulles through Friday this week. Expect some additional traffic delays.
The work is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Friday.
Drivers should be alert for rolling closures of lanes on the following roads:
-- Tysons Boulevard
-- Route 123 between the Dulles Connector Road and Capital One Drive
-- Route 66 between the Dulles Connector Road split and the Great Falls Street overpass
-- Route 7 side streets and intersections, including Tyco Road/Westwood Center Drive, Spring Hill Road and Westpark Drive/Gosnell Road
-- F-773 Frontage Road, between Route 123/International Drive and Route 7
