Travelers will find Friday and the weekend's weather semi-arid compared to the Thursday deluge, and mild temperatures will encourage spring-like activity. The start of the Cherry Blossom Festival is still two weeks away, but you could shake off the winter blues at the District's St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday. Interstate closures canceled
Lane closures on Interstate 495 northbound at Route 123 in Northern Virginia scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights have been canceled, according to officials with the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.

Va. transit workers, Veolia make deal
