Cowboys may seek help at tight end after injuries Sunday

The Dallas Cowboys may be looking for a tight end with John Phillips likely tearing his anterior cruciate ligament and Kevin Brock spraining his left ankle in the team's 16-7 Sunday night's thank-god-football-is-back preseason victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cowboys face a fast turnaround with a game Thursday night against the Oakland Raiders (reasons to watch: former Redskins Jason Campbell, Rock Cartwright and Colt Brennan) and, with Martellus Bennett recovering from an ankle injury, you may be seeing a lot of Scott Sicko.

Dez Bryant was asked by the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora Sunday if he is thinking he has three-four weeks left in his recovery from a foot injury. "There's no telling for sure," he told LaCanfora, "but I think it might even be sooner than that. It's coming along pretty good." Bryant's return had been projected for the season opener Sept. 12 against the Redskins.
