Live Chat: Redskins vs. Bills
Join me at 7:15 p.m. as the Redskins begin preseason play with a game at FedEx Field against the Buffalo Bills.
To prep, you can:
- see typical Mike Shanahan plays
- learn five important things from Doug Farrar of Football Outsiders
- watch the Redskins Insider podcast with LaVar Arrington
- know what to expect from the Redskins' offense.
Kudos to colleague Alexa Steele for setting me up with Cover It Live. If something goes wrong, it's her fault.

Watchin' CSN, the boyz look svelte. Looks like they've been training!
I'm impressed. Maybe everyone will skip their yearly quadricep injury.

I live in south Florida and a couple of times I went out side to get some air and I swear I hear "We Want DALLAS, We Want Dallas" coming from Fedex Field!! Am I nuts or do I really hear it?

With McNab at the helm, Snyder may finally have a real pro team, instead of Jr Varsity HS team.

Game finished after 3:30am, UK time. Ugh!
Was nice to see Washington dominate a game, but Buffalo were awful. The 'Skins didn't even have to show much of the playbook, as the O-Line bullied the Bills into submission pretty early.
I expect to see LJ play against Baltimore. Torain looked good in part and Banks probably earned himself a bounty from The Face-Lifted One for every D*ll*s ST scrub, come Week 1, for the punt return.
I wouldn'tbe surprised if Malcolm Kelly's Redskin career is over already, given the logjam of (other, average) receivers and his inability to get healthy.
The D looked a bit jumpy and too many players took bad tackling angles. Another reason to be thankful for London Fletcher, our MVP for several years now. Hopefully, the lively Perry Riley can spell him or Rocky Mac for a few plays this season.
Overall mark? 7/10, a resounding win over a terrible team, with no injuries or too much scheming given away. Happy days!

I missed the game! I missed the live chat! Stupid school and getting ready to teach children! Well at least my computer is fully functioning once again.
I know it is only a preseason game but when was the last time the Skins scored 42?!?!
Time to get out the Kool Aid . . . (although I'm figuring a 7-9 record is likely.)
