Bill Polian clarifies his remarks on 18-game schedule for NFL
Remember Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian's comments about an 18-game NFL season being a "fait accompli?" He's backpedaling like a defensive back today.
"I created a headline that was 180 degrees from what was right," said Polian, who caught flak for the remark. "Bad job by me in answering the question."
Polian, who is a member of the NFL's executive committee, added that the issue requires further discussion among and voting by owners.

Backpedaling like a competent defensive back or like DeAngelo Hall did against the Rams?
