NFL reviewing incident involving Nick Collins after Packers-Bears game
The NFL is investigating a confrontation between Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins and a Bears fan that allegedly took place Monday night after the Bears' 20-17 victory in Chicago.
The NFL is "in the process of reviewing all the facts," spokesman Greg Aiello told the Associated Press.
In footage shown on Milwaukee's Fox affiliate, Collins yells at a fan and appears to throw his mouthpiece into the stands as he left Soldier Field. According to the station, Collins said the fan spit on him and used a racial slur. Collins, according to the station, apologized for "losing his cool."
