Jenn Sterger, the woman who allegedly was on the receiving end of explicit texts and voice messages from Brett Favre, has hired a lawyer.
Sterger's manager, Phil Reese, said she has hired LaRusso and Conway, a Long Island law firm, to represent her. Joseph Conway said the firm will speak for her as the NFL investigation into Favre's behavior continues and will "pursue any potential remedies that may exist."
Favre met Tuesday with Milt Ahlerich, the NFL's vice president for security, as the league looks into allegations that Favre sent inappropriate voicemails and graphic photos to Sterger when he played for the Jets and she was a sideline reporter for the team in 2008. The NFL reportedly has not yet interviewed Sterger about the allegations.
Favre will speak to the media later today in Minnesota.
