When David Stern does an interview, the conversation naturally turns to flubber, fuzzy balls, the international game, a possible lockout, the Harlem Globetrotters, and short shorts. And, of course, LeBron James.
Naturally, "The Colbert Report" was no exception.
Colbert: "How much of the season is gonna be just LeBron making up his mind again? Because that was such a highlight last year. You must be incredibly proud that that was the story of the year for the NBA last year."
Oof. Under the relentless probing of Stephen Colbert, the NBA commish admits that he's not really 5-foot-9 3/4.
