Buffalo claims Shawne Merriman off waiver wire
Buffalo has claimed Shawne Merriman.
Merriman, who played at Maryland and was waived earlier this week by the San Diego Chargers, has five days in which to report to the Bills although he is not expected to play Sunday against Chicago.
