Steelers spokesman Dave Lockett said that Ben Roethlisberger's injury is not a new fracture, but rather an aggravation of old injury where there's scar tissue.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's foot injury is a little more serious than a sprain. He has a broken bone in his foot -- specifically the fifth metatarsal, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Roethlisberger, who still expects to play Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, has been limited in practice Wednesday and today. Roethlisberger initially had the foot in a boot, but now has a special cleat that provides the same stability.

"I'll make it happen," he said of playing Sunday.
