Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe returns to practice
Dwayne Bowe, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver who missed practice Wednesday because of a flu-like illness, returned to the field and practiced fully today.
Guard Brian Waters missed practice Wednesday and again Thursday for the same reasonas the Chiefs tried to keep the bug from traveling throughout the locker room. A third player, reserve wide receiver, Quinten Lawrence, also was ill and did not practice.
''We had a reemphasis lesson, kindergarten rules, of washing your hands, warm water, two minutes,'' Haley told the Kansas City Star. ''As always, we're doing a good job in our building of trying as best we can to keep the germs out.''
The Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC wild-card game at 1 p.m. Sunday in Kansas City.
