HBO to air Jets' 'Hard Knocks' episodes Saturday
Remember when the New York Jets had swagger and bluster and bravado and weren't giant luvtubs of goo for their next opponent? (It was only last week.)
HBO will help you remember and prepare for the AFC Championship Game between the Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers by airing the five classique "Hard Knocks" episodes from Jets training camp starting at 3 p.m. (EST) Saturday on HBO2.
Relive Antonio Cromartie's quest to name his children. Thrill to Rex Ryan's snack obsession. Refresh your stagnant #$@!^&^$%^^ vocabulary. Smile as Rex Ryan's language blisters the ears of Tony Dungy. Hear Ryan's speech, which historians believe he may have borrowed from Lombardi: "I demand that we have fun. But there's a difference between having fun and being a jackass." Be there as the line "Let's go eat a [gosh darn] snack" enters immortality.
