LSU Coach Les Miles to meet with Michigan about coaching vacancy

By Cindy Boren

LSU Coach Les Miles isn't sure when or where, but he said he will speak to the University of Michigan about its football vacancy.

"I'm told that we will speak, that time and place has not been identified," Miles, a former Wolverines assistant and player, told The Times-Picayune. "It's hard for me to speculate to the substance of the meeting."

Miles, whose contract with LSU runs through 2014, made the comment at the press conference at which LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson announced that he will enter the NFL Draft.

"I'm extremely happy here. There's a real comfort with my family in Baton Rouge," Miles said.
