Michigan athletic director believes Jim Harbaugh is headed to NFL
Michigan Athletic Director Dave Brandon agrees with John Harbaugh about just where Jim Harbaugh will coach next season.
"I personally believe Jim Harbaugh is headed to the NFL," Brandon said at a press conference announcing the firing of Rich Rodriguez. "My personal belief is that Jim Harbaugh is going to end up with a really, really challenging opportunity in the NFL."
Stanford Coach Jim Harbaugh, who played at Michigan, wasn't interested in succeeding Rodriguez and, while he conveyed that to Brandon, he didn't indicate which NFL city -- Oakland? San Francisco? Denver? Miami? -- might be his destination. Or whether he might stay at Stanford.
