Ndamukong Suh named NFL's rookie of the year

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been named the NFL's Rookie of the Year.

Other finalists for the award were St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden, New England Patriots cornerback Devin McCourty and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams.

Suh led NFL rookies and all defensive tackles with 10 sacks and had 66 tackles, three passes defensed, one forced fumble, one interception and one fumble returned for a touchdown.

If only Nebraska had beaten Texas last year, Suh shoulda been the Heisman trophy winner. Oh well, that trophy would start to gather dust now.
