Report: Kicker Nick Novak signs with New York Jets
Former Maryland and Redskins kicker Nick Novak, who led the United Football League in scoring with 69 points in 10 games, has signed with the New York Jets, according to an NFL Network report.
Novak, signed to provide competition for Nick Folk, was the UFL's special teams player of the year, making 15 of 18 field-goal attempts. He drew attention from NFL teams, but his UFL team would not allow him to leave.
Which means only one thing.
@CindyBoren So I can expect he'll be kicking in the Super Bowl next year then. Probably against Gano on his next team. :/
