Super Bowl XLV: What the Obamas are serving at White House party

The menu for the Super Bowl party that President and Mrs. Obama are hosting (invitees include Dolphins part owners Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony) at the White House:

Bratwurst
Kielbasa
Cheeseburgers
Deep Dish Pizza
Buffalo Wings
German Potato Salad
Twice Baked Potatoes
Snyders Potato Chips and Pretzels
Chips and Dips
Salad
Ice Cream
Beverages including the following beers: Hinterland Pale Ale & Amber Ale (Wisconsin), Yuengling Lager and Light (Pennsylvania), White House Honey Ale.

(Mmmm, salad...)

Why did President Obama invite Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony to the White House for a Super Bowl party? They are an uninteresting fit for an event like this.
