Markets Stumble Out Of Gate
Yesterday, the Dow rallied to close up more than 4 percent.
So, naturally, it's retreating on opening today.
In the first 15 minutes of trading, the Dow is down about 100 points, or about 1 percent. Dow-watchers today will be looking to see if the index can keep its head above the 9,000 mark.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are faring worse, each down more than 1 percent.
Ford-watch: Following this morning news that billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian is dumping his stake in Ford, shares of the troubled automaker are down 3 percent.
