Markets Rally at Opening
Wall Street, happy to have the uncertainty of the election soon behind it, zipped right out of the gates this morning with a rally across the board.
In the first 15 minutes of trading today, with Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.), already having voted, the Dow is trading up more than 160 points, or about 1.5 percent.
The S&P 500 is up nearly 2 percent and the Nasdaq is up about 1.3 percent.
