Economist Peter Morici: Know-It-All
University of Maryland econ prof Peter Morici, testifying before the Senate Banking committee right now, alongside the heads of Detroit's Big Three automakers, is evidently pretty sure about his command of his field of study.
America has too many cars just like it has too many houses, Morici said.
"I am a macroeconomist and I know something about this," he said.
