What if Hitler Had an ARM?
While we're waiting for the heads of Detroit's (former) Big Three automakers and the UAW head to get hauled before Congress and justify why they need a bailout at 3 p.m., let's have a little bit of fun.
We wonder: What would have happened if Hitler had an ARM?
"Downfall," the 2004 German-language film about Hitler's last days, contains a pivotal scene in which Hitler is informed, finally, that things are going worse than he thought, leading to an explosion of rage followed by resignation.
The scene has been widely parodied on the Internet, with new subtitles inserted by clever mash-up artists. In the parodies, Hitler responds to a raft of bad luck -- getting kicked off Wikipedia, a loss by his beloved Cowboys, problems with his Windows Vista operating system, and so on.
In this version, Hitler is informed that the real estate bubble has burst.
That's okay, he finally concedes: At least my 401(k) is still fine, right?
