Khuzami to Head SEC's Enforcement Division
The SEC made it official today and appointed Robert Khuzami to head the agency's enforcement division, replacing Linda Thomsen, who took heat for failing to catch self-confessed $50 billion Ponzi grifter Bernie Madoff, despite repeated warnings.
The Post's Zach Goldfarb reported earlier this month that Khuzami was the likely pick.
Khuzami is a former assistant U.S. attorney who worked in Manhattan prosecuting insider trading and Ponzi schemes. After that, was was a top executive at Deutsche Bank.
