Ticker Talks on Washington's Fox 5 This Morning
I appeared on Washington's Fox 5 this morning to talk about President Obama's speech to Wall Street yesterday, what he wants in terms of regulatory reform and where the economy may be heading.
One thing was noteworthy about Obama's speech yesterday: Unlike his predecessors, Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Obama did not walk across the street from Federal Hall, where he spoke, to greet traders on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
In an interview on CNBC last night, Obama said he didn't want to cause a "distraction." But traders saw it as a slight.
