Daughter of departing GM CEO pops off -- profanely -- on Facebook

Sarah Henderson -- daughter of Fritz Henderson, who resigned Tuesday as chief executive of General Motors in a surprise, stunning announcement -- apparantly is not sticking with the party line.

In a message on Facebook, a Sarah Henderson who identified herself as Fritz's daughter laid into Ed Whitacre, the chairman of GM, who said yesterday he's taking over Henderson's job until a replacement can be found.

Of course, the Internet is a lawless place with identities hard to identify but our degree of confidence is pretty high that the Sarah Henderson who wrote the ALLCAPS profanity-laced rant against Whitacre is Henderson's daughter. Sarah Henderson says her father did not resign. Instead, "HE [profanity] GOT ASKED TO STEP DOWN ALL YOU [profanity] IDIOTS."

It looks like the rant was first reported by the auto blog Jalopnik and then reported more widely by the Detroit Free Press. I'm not going to reproduce it here for obvious reasons, but you can read it on Jalopni by clicking here.
