Video: Why you're going to hear more about a Chinese company called Baidu
You have heard about the escalating war between China and Google. Google no longer will censor the search results of Chinese citizens, as the Chinese government demands. Google has pulled out. Other companies are following. Where this goes, it's hard to say. Maybe Google will be the hammer that brings down China's Great Wall to the outside world. Maybe not.
One thing is sure in the short term: This war is very good for Baidu, the Google of China. You're going to hear a lot more about this search engine. Here's a primer:
