Warren Buffett has cameos in new Geico ads
Yes, that is world's third-richest man Warren Buffett rocking the mic as a DJ at the 4:40 mark in this new "We're Geico" Web video.
And -- shudder -- yes, that is Buffett dressed as, whom? Axl Rose? at the 0:29 mark in this new "Lizard Ballard" Geico Web ad that's a pretty funny take on '80s power ballads.
Geico, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, has turned to the company's chairman, Buffett, in these new ads for a little starpower. The ads feature real employees of the insurance giant, singing and dancing. (Break dancing, even.)
Sure, he's no gecko or caveman, but the 79-year-old Buffett -- who also is a director of The Washington Post Co. -- certainly is game. Watch the videos below, if you dare.
