So: new blog! A couple features worth noting. On the left, you'll see a box called "Think Tank." I'll be keeping that updated with longer reports, articles, studies, and policy briefs that I think are interesting. A lot of those links will download pdf files, so be warned. There's also a twitter feed on the left, and some fine blogs linked on the right. Go nuts.

Other technical issues: The RSS feed seems to be working for most, but I've also heard some complaints. If you're having trouble with that or any other portion of the site, leave a comment on this thread. Try to be detailed (i.e, which RSS reader are you using?). I'll try to get it taken care of. Anything I'm forgetting?

Newsfire seems to be having issues downloading the blog automatically. It seems to work if I manually refresh so it's not a terrible problem. But it's nice when technology works properly.

Looks fine in Google Reader with Safari.

I imagine that some commenters would like it if their names linked to their crappy blogs.

The rss feed linked at the top of this page ( seems not to update very frequently. The rss feed (I got it from Brad DeLong's link: seems to be correct. Don't know why there are two, but that seems to be a bit of a problem.

12 posts on your first day so far, and it's only 4 pm. Pace yourself, man! I imagine you stored up a few over the past week, but you wouldn't want us to start expecting that kind of output every day (grin)...

My normal daily load is 15. We'll keep at it. As for the feeds, the non-fast one is actually correct. Worried to hear it's not updating regularly. Will look into it.

I couldn't find your blog through the full blog listing, or on the Political Blogs page. You might want to get someone to make those links, cause you were hard to find.

think tank is a great idea. since i'll be reading via a newsreader, i'm hoping additions to thinktank will show up in your RSS feed.

Would be nice to get an RSS feed of the "think tank", either as a part of the main feed or, perhaps more elegantly, separately.

Tried 2 or 3 times last week for RSS feed & it wouldn't take, but works fine today from 1 of the links you left at TAP this morning. For some reason, the other link - 2nd one, I think, wouldn't link. Anyway, welcome to your new digs.

Whatever happened to "Mama said wonk you out"? I miss it.

Nice new digs! Welcome to the MSM.

My only complaint so far is the font used for the main posts. Arial is hard to read (too vertical and compressed) and rather ugly at 14 point; there are many easier-to-read fonts, but at least take it down to 12 point like the rest of the web.

Yep - you've got to do something about the font size for your entries, Ezra. The style of your blog was much better over at The American Prospect. The large Arial font is just way too clunky, and hard to read. The font size for the comments is fine

RSS feed is not updating for me in Google Reader. It imported the first few posts and hasn't added anything new since then. The feed I'm subscribed to is atom.xml

And also I'm really sad that I can't comment as "alli" anymore.

Congrats again on the new gig, and get those tech people to fix your feed!
