Brad Johnson reminds us that Rep. Collin Peterson's unconscionable giveaways to farmers amendments weren't the only changes made to the Waxman-Markey bill. Lots of small tweaks were added in the past day or two. And some of them were good! Rep. Dennis Cardoza, for instance, added a smart amendment to discourage neighborhood associations from prohibiting solar panels of aesthetic grounds. Rep. Ed Perlmutter passed an amendments pushing lenders to offer low-interest loans to individuals and businesses attempting to increase their energy efficiency. Brad has the full rundown here.
