My Head, Blogging
Cato's Will Wilkinson joins me for some live-action wonkery on the public plan, the strange death of Treasury Sec.Timothy Geithner's toxic loans program, and the secret to true happiness (seriously).

I am disappointed with Ezra Klein for engaging with Cato's paid hacks.

While it may be true that there is nothing YOU wrote before that you could not write here, it is not true of the commenters. The rules of the Post are extremely stuffy, and a lot of the colorful things that made your old blog distinctive are gone, never again to return. The "trolls" (people who weren't worshipers of Obama or tools of the Clintons), the varied group of Israel haters, and just plain oddballs -- the recognizable, sometimes profane personalities that gave charm to your blog, are all gone. Now it's purely earnest commentary. Even your own scope has narrowed considerably, despite the assurance of your new employer that all would be as before.
