Freakin' brilliant.
But just for kicks and giggles, let's consider that woman's objections seriously.
Suppose the Nazis were running things, and had to choose between the current system, and the reforms proposed by the four Congressional committees that have reported bills so far.
Under the current system, a great many people that the Nazis would surely regard as 'undesirables' die prematurely each year due to lack of timely diagnoses and care. The reform proposals would reduce that considerably.
Seems pretty clear to me that the Nazis would prefer the status quo.

I assume the lady is a Larouchie.

So do we see finally the line what Dems can use against such b**l sh*t and that one final opening against GOP? That opening is - aggression.
Hopefully, when Pre. Obama talks with the Conservative Radio, he adopts equally hard line.
Pres. Obama and Dems need to wake up and realize the this is a 'political war'. It is as good as any competitive political campaign. There is no place for 'kumbaya moment'. Someone needs to place that Sen. Grassley in a place when he says that 'I am pushed from the table...' and that is when President has already paid the price of Public Plan and Grassley's of the word have been dragging this negotiations so long.
There is tremendous scope for such 'hard hitting' since so much misconception is out there.
Time to take off 'gloves'.

So very disgusting. A young woman, not some old white man who never met a black man he didn't hate - Stand with a picture of Barack Obama as Hitler. And she's proud of it. I just want to throw up.
And where are all Obama's supporters? Why leave him alone in this most crucial time?
Good for Barney. One Dem with a spine.

good point bdballard. I think Massachusetts has lots more Larouchers than Teabaggers; both are fans of the Obama/Hitler poster.

Every moron at those town hall meetings need to have their head handed to them as Barney did.

If only every Democratic politician had Barney's sharp wit, and the nerve to use it.

It is so nice to see a Democratic Congressman with a spine. Usually the Congressman will stand there like a deer in headlights.
Then they will proceed to wilt and freak out because there is a camera there, and treat these freaks like they are sane, rational people. Makes you wonder about the Congressman's own reasoning capacity, that they can't counter a blatantly false argument.
Barney needs to whip those congressmen up!! Help them grow a pair!

Erza, don't you think you should have mentioned that woman was a Larouche Democrat?

bdballard, that's what I instantly thought too -- the combination of sincerity and lunacy in a vapid young person, and in Massachusetts.
And, apparently, we were right:

My favorite part comes later when Frank says that illegals are not covered under the bill, and some wisecrackers in the audience start yelling "read the bill read the bill" and then Barney says "ok" and he whips out his copy and then reads the part about the illegals right off of the page, and shuts up the wisecrackers!

What you all don't realize is the local news this morning made Barney look like the bad guy. And it wasn't just the local fox station.

I'm now a fan of Barney Frank! Thank you!
Now if only these people would thoughtfully listen when their representatives are doing what they can to answer their nonsensical questions rather than just use these town hall meetings as ways to spout their ridiculous misgivings about the administration...

Ah, yes! A Larouche Democrat. This is a creature similar to an Islamo-Fascist Communist.

My only criticism would be that I'd like just one additional clause added to flesh out the general message of "Shut up, you're an idiot." How about...
"On what planet does it make sense to compare someone who sent 6 million people to the gas chamber with someone who wants to improve a health care system that leaves 46 million people with no insurance and yet costs almost twice as much as that of any other developed country?"
The dining room table bit was fine as is, however :)

I have more respect for dining room tables then these idiots that can't rise to an intelligent conversation.

Thank God for the Barney Franks of the Democratic party who won't stand for such idiocy and hatred. I hope Fox News is proud they have spawned this sort of intellectual political discourse.

About time. I'm sick of hearing diffident, spineless Democrats just collapse in the face of such nonsense.
