"Why did Chuck Grassley and Max Baucus vote for Medicare Part D? "Because George Bush proposed it. And Baucus voted for every major Bush proposal. I think Baucus would have voted to privatize Social Security if given the chance. Steve Pearlstein has a good rant on where Democrats such as Baucus are headed.
