Ever wondered how to spend $47,221.09 on lunch for five?

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich walks you through it.

On the other hand, Abramovich is worth $8.5 billion. If my math is right, for him to spend $47,000 on lunch is equivalent to someone with $70,000 in the bank spending 38 cents on lunch. Viewed that way, Abramovich was downright thrifty.

Most of his bill was on wine and truffles. You leave that out and the bill was $429. You couldn't do that everyday, but you could do it.

I count seven bottles of wine. For six people. For lunch.

Plus Scotch, and some port.

And an espresso, to get back to work....

Funny! That means lunch for me would be about 9 cents!

How to spend $47K on lunch? Order 7 ridiculously overpriced bottles of wine.

Also, classy of the restaurant to not only impose a 20% gratuity ("Hey, it's automatic on a party of 6 or more!"), but to make them tip on the full price of the wine.

Roman Abramovich may have walked you through it, but it doesn't look like he (or his co-diners) could have walked out of the place with that amount of booze.

That seemed like an extremely unimaginative way to spend 50k on food.
