Very recent? I had liquid nitrogen ice cream in 1995. The ice cream one is just "dippin' dots- the ice cream of the future!TM"
The alcohol one seems a bit dangerous- the other foods are just flash frozen and will stay solid up to their melting points, but if you put the solid alcohol in your mouth you're quite likely to get a frostbite burn.
