A stop-motion video using shadow art -- more than 6,000 pages of it -- for the animation. It would be better if it was a bit more whimsical and less Dragonball Z, but it's still visually stunning.

I'm pretty sure this is a work from one of the members of the Touhou fanbase (not Dragonball Z). Touhou is a game series which features a sort of space-invaders play, where you control a ship and fight through rather beautiful and colorful bullet patterns and intense music. The game's fans are known for making visually and musically impressive works like this.

All Dragonball Z is anime but not all anime is Dragonball Z. That said, it would be better without the anime.

i find the music unsettling, but the visual effects are remarkable.
