Tab dump
1) Al Gore is very interested in fonts.
4) How investigative journalism works in China's state-run publications.
5) I've really been enjoying Jon Chait's new blog.
Do people actually like the recipe of the day feature? Should I keep doing it?

I like Recipe of the Day enough to create a washingtonpost.com User ID so I could comment in favor it. That's got to mean something, right?

Yes, please keep recipe of the day --- I stopped cooking about a year and a half ago and am trying to get back to it -- always looking for new recipes/ideas so, this is helpful feature for me.......

I like recipe of the day, but don't drive yourself crazy over it.

Occasionally. Had my roommate make the vanilla roasted pears -- they were great.

I like the recipe of the day idea... perhaps you could even have user submitted recipes of the day as well? *hint* ;)

I am a self-professed policy nerd, I try to stay up to date and informed on the various machinations of the current HC legislation- but please! Keep the recipes, the mentions of life in DC, your new place:(Wo)Man can not live by health care policy alone!

Please do keep the recipe of the day. I made the pasta with cauliflower awhile back and now it's a favorite. I recall the radish recipe fondly as well. If it's not a problem for you to keep posting them, do! Thanks!

My vote is to keep it. I've gotten some great ideas from it.

I wanted to comment somewhere about Jon Chait's article on Al Qaida and the undiebomber. Actually, I was looking around the blogs for a comment Rachel Maddow said on Friday, but have not found it. Rachel said bin Laden said (more or less) that, rather than kill every American AQ can bankrupt the US by sending two men to the corners of the world and hoist up an AQ flag, and the US would spend millions sending an army there. Likewise, the undiebomber is a success because the US will spend billions to prevent such a thing happening again, so it does not matter if the bomb actually blows up or not.
Of course, I agree. But no one anywhere seems to even consider this important.
BTW, the recipes are great. I always look, and sometimes make.

Recipes yes - love the blog and your reporting and analysis. If the recipes are one thing too many I'd understand but hope you can keep them and the other personal asides coming.

Of course I like the recipes! Perhaps more video content -- or even a video in each tab dump, either related to the recipe or the links? The recipes, personality, and multimedia are really what make this a much nicer place than what the Washington Post architecture typically provides for.

The nice thing about following political bloggers is their individuality apart from politics. Drum has his cats, you have your foodieness, Yglesias has his b-ball. This is good.

Heavens, yes! Please keep posting the recipes. I come to the blog for the food stuff, and leave with a head full of information about health care reform. It's a twofer blog! BTW, I made the cauliflower pasta recipe of the day a few weeks ago on your recommendation, it was terrific.

KEEP the foodie ideas coming. As a former restaurant owner/chef I love the humanity your take on anything edible gives to your faithful readers. Ginnie Huckabee

Yes please continue with the recipe of the day! Also - what are your top picks for DC restaurant week this year?

the recipe is probably a tab, so it wouldn't be a true tab dump if you left it out.
so there.

Like the feature. Don't usually care for the recipes but you never know. More ideas is better ideas.
