Hey, UK - can you lend us your David Cameron? We can sure trade 'Obama' for you since you European likes him so much.
UK - time to repay USA's debt: trade your young, Conservative leader to the bigger land of Conservative ideas.

I can't bring myself to watch this man. He makes my skin crawl. A privileged, hypocritical bag of nothing in a good suit. His stance on gay rights is particularly opportunistic. Just a few short years ago, he was as much a fire-breathing bigot as conservatives the world over regarding gays. Then, a 180-degree change with no explanation, and worse still, meaningless expressions of sympathy with scant remedies on offer. It's a way for conservatives over there to put a trendy, youthful sheen on the same conservative ideas Tories have been peddling for decades.
I think the fact that after 13 years of Labour rule, it's still not in any way certain that the Tories will prevail speaks volumes. They may have a handsome, young and charming new leader, but beyond that, there's not a lot of there, there.

'roquelaure_79' understood. Our Republicans are same for a thing.
Within Dem, apart from Obama the leader who is trying to do few things (and miss things as Charlie Cook put a finger at the heart of the matter - HCR as Obama's Iraq); who do have? We have a good leader in Hillary, but she is running the world for embattled Obama at home. Ted - another of our stalwart, finally succumbed to History and his dream does not leave on...
When we have got lemons like Harry Reid and Obama makes the cardinal mistake of trusting him in navigating bills through Senate; we all are desperate.
Our tragedy - rationality tells us that Dems do not deserve votes in Nov; but rationality also tells us GOP is not the one who should get those votes. They have nothing to offer. They will bury us live.
Hence craving for any Conservative who is even ready to admit for 'thinking' and wanting to suggest at least some sense.

Why can't we have conservatives like that over here?
