Fair warning
Blogging may be a bit slow this afternoon due to a couple of deadlines and interviews. I don't really know why I feel the need to warn you of this in advance. Your lives, I imagine, will not be much impacted by eight posts rather than 15. But I do. So consider yourselves warned.

But if you don't update your blog, what will I do at work all afternoon?
Do my job? Hogwash!

I appreciate the warning as my day revolves around your posts. Pick your level of sarcasm...

Appreciated.
Although, I have to say, Ezra, after watching Jon Stewart pants your torture-loving colleague, Marc Thiessen, I think it's now clear why Stewart does a good job with some interviews and not as good a job with others. Jon Stewart is good at making fools of stupid people--Thiessen--and not so good at making fools of evil people--Yoo. As long as Stewart's guests fall into the Stupid category of Republican and not into the Evil category of Republican, all will be well. If he ever interviews Dick Cheney, there may be a toss-up.
That is all.

“crafting the rule to spare House members a certain vote”
(Please answer a simple question! Will the House have to pass the Senate bill “as-is” and Obama sign it into law BEFORE reconciliation can even be taken up?)
